Active Telecoms

Delivering working solutions

Active Telecom Ltd is owned by its two directors, Tim Harris and Chris Paine. We operate from two sites, St Ives near Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

The Directors have 38 years of Telecoms engineering experience between them.

Their knowledge is broad and substantial, and as it is likely that TIm or Chris would be working your job, you can benefit directly from their knowledge and experience.

We specialise in providing services and systems to businesses that range in size from 6 people to 250 people.

Our aim is to provide our customers, both exisiting and new, with a service that means there is just one call to make for all your telephony needs.

We are a tightly cost controlled service, and this means by virtue we are very competitive in all areas of service and product provision. This will become apparent if you would care to use our services.

Above all else, we are an amiable and approachable company who have the good fortune of a loyal customer base.

About VoiP

A number of our customers have installed a VoiP system to take advantage of reduced call costs. VoIP enables a company to make calls over the internet, instead of the phone exchange.

It’s a much discussed topic in the telephony industry, and generates a lot of questions. That is why we have produced a small document called VoIP Beginners Guide for you to read.

The document features all the most commonly asked questions and gives the answers on the Key issues. Access the link attached and see for yourself. Of course, you can call us and we will talk you through any issues that you might have.

Most phone systems can initiallise VoIP, and naturally we can do it for you.
